New energy

Mmmm now it feels like my energy starts to come back.
has for some time now been feeling tired and worn..... probably because I don't really do anything :) it can be hard to do nothing :)

But now it feels like I am picking up again, and that feels good.

Just waiting for the weather to pick up too, long walks in the rain is not so funny.....

Bread

Had some plain yogurt at home that I had to use... so I searched on Internet for some recipe with that in, found a Russian rye bread...
I have never used yogurt in bread before and in this recipe it was cumin too...
so gave it a try and it turned out really well, gave it to my son this morning ( he is not so keen to try new things sometimes) and he liked it :) so that was a win win :)

Another "funny" thing, yesterday morning they talked about the pyramids on the radio and it was something about that they think that Aliens have done something with or in them, Marcus was listening to it and asked me if I heard what they said.... I did not listen to it so he starts to tell me, and then it was a word that I didn't understand so he starts to explain the meaning of this word... it is just that he is doing it in English.....!!! ( he is Swedish and I am that too) 

Remember when we lived in South Africa and he was talking to his friend in Sweden  and then he turns to me and says, mom what is the Swedish word for Christmas tree???

Peanut ball



Have bought a peanut ball, have only used it for "sit ups" right now, but if you have some other exercise tip, please let me know :)

Finally I have found a pair :)

So yesterday we were out walking for 2 hours and it felt great.

Memory lane ....

I sat and looked through my music on my laptop and I found one that I haven't listen to for a long time...

It just hit me with memories.... good ones....

The song is -Stand as one- with Martin P K and it was played on the radio during World Cup 2010 in South Africa

and  I WAS THERE..... during the world cup..... and I can still remember the feeling, the atmosphere, the weather,

and the people......

I have so many memories from my time in South Africa.... I miss it... I miss my friends there....

well the afternoon hasn't drag like the morning..... up to lunch time I felt half dead..no energy.. nothing...

Start to pick up now, so have started to prepare for dinner :)

Only tomorrow and then the weekend starts :) and I can / will spend 3 days with my love :)

Yesterday dessert was really, really good

Forgotten meringue

And tonight I gonna eat it with home made lemon ice cream :)

It was really easy to make the meringue, just whisk together and then put it in a hot oven, turn the heat off and just let it stand there over night, voila !!!

So now I hope it will taste good too.
